We had friends and neighbours over to watch the Freedom Festival (the week before the 4th) parade on our front lawn. The Freedom Festival is a really fun weekend for us. The park down the street from our house, Holland Park, is set up with food vendors, special shows, craft fairs etc for the whole weekend. Saturday, we took Isa for a walk around the various booths--she got lots of attention:-) And, we watched the Frisbee dog show. These were Frisbee catching routines that were set to music--pretty cool to watch.
On Sunday, we had many people over at our house. We played badminton in our backyard and then watch the parade. That evening we had a cookout at our neighbours and ended up watching the fireworks from our front lawn.
