One more month down...wow time is flying fast. So what's new this month? Well, Finn official crawled (hmm..like an inch or so:-) and he sat in his high chair for the first time at 5 months.
Getting around: He is working so hard on crawling...that's pretty much all he does! He is able to get up on all fours (sometimes uses his head as a 5th support). He rocks his body to move forward. Otherwise, he is pretty good at moving sideways, backwards and rotating on his belly.
He likes to sit supported on someones lap. He loves playing in his jumperoo or excersaucer. He can stand on his own pretty well in the jumperoo/excersaucer.
He went swimming for the first time and loved pool time! He is also enjoying bath time more. I guess spending time in the pool helped.
Lately he's been fussy in the evenings. I thought it was teething, but I'm thinking it may just be that he wants to spend more time with me. He seems to have more of an option about what he wants to do and is finding ways to express it.
I've switch him to 6m PJs and added some 6m items to his wardrobe. I'm thinking in the next few weeks I'll switch all of his clothes to 6m. He is still fairly small for his age. When I set up his new highchair, I had to set the seat on the 90 degree setting. The reclined positions caused his shoulders to fall below the tray! Even at the 90 degree setting his arms fall below the tray...I have to pull them up for him.
He is still sleeping fairly well at night. He wakes up for an early morning feeding around 5ish. We've had a few nights where he's been up more than once. I kind of suspected teething might be causing this, but its hard to tell.
He is still taking 5 oz bottles and feeding 6 to 7 times a day.
