Wow, time is flying by and I've done a terrible job of recording things lately. Finn is taking a late nap right now because he is sick (boo). But on the bright side, I have some time to blog.
Walking! First off, the kid is walking--how crazy is that! He took his first steps a little after 10 months. Now he is comfortably taking 10 or so steps at a time. He still uses something to pull himself up and still falls down after being on his feet for a while.
Talking! No..he isn't talking:-) But, he is signing. For a month or so he has been signing "MILK", "MORE", and "ALL DONE". Not bad for communicating at meal time. I'm starting to use more signs as I talk to him and read to him, so we'll see if he adds some more soon.
He still LOVES bath time! Can't get enough of splashing in the tub with his brother...even wrestling! He also likes to drink bath water..yep...he puts his lips to the water and slurps! It's going to be so fun getting this kid in the pool this summer!
He likes music. He's figured out how to turn his CD player on in his bedroom. (Occasionally this means we get the same song stuck on repeat ALL NIGHT!). (I on the other hand, am so not musically inclined that it takes me ALL NIGHT to figure out I'm listening to the SAME song! Usually the only thing that tips me off is the fact that it's been over a hour and the music is still going...Yep..not sure how I passed music class.)
Eating. This kid eats and eats and eats some more. He's been eating off the 1-year-old menu for over a month. He eats mostly what we eat. He's not too picky...but he gets bored with the same foods. For example, cheerios are an "out" food right now b/c it's been overdone!
Height and weight. Really don't know his height, but I think his weight is a little over 17lb. I've recently removed the 9 month clothes from his drawers (well most of them). He is mostly in 12 months clothing. Still a little guy:-)
