Finn just had his 9-Month check up. He also happens to be struggling we a cold and a persistent cough. He has been on breathing treatments for a week (and pretty much around the clock over the weekend). He finished a round of antibiotics and is now on a steroid. Just waiting for some improvement!
He has been cutting 6 teeth over the last few weeks. They keep fooling me. I keep thinking a tooth has pop through, but the next time I check I can't feel it any more! I do believe that he has an additional two bottom teeth and the two front teeth are in. There are two more front teeth that are swollen, but not in yet.
He weighed in at 16 lb 2 oz (11ish %) (Can't remember length, but it's in the same % range). His head was in the 75% as usual. (Interestingly, his head % has been the same as Cole's all along...probably why they tend to look alike in baby pictures!).
He is walking with the aid of a push toy, or someones hand. He can cruise along on furniture and if you aren't looking he may crawl out of sight!
He likes to be read to and he likes his Baby Einstein videos (a must for breathing treatments!). He'd rather play with Cole's toys. He almost always has a small toy in either hand (even when crawling...it does help me "hear" him coming!) Bath time is his favorite time of the day. Just say the word "bath" and he gets excited. At least once a day, I find that he's crawled into the master bathroom and is about to tumble into the tub. (needless to say, we make sure there is no water in the tub!). He recognizes the sign for "milk" and probably the sign for "more". His signing so far has seemed somewhat random...so I wouldn't call him a signer yet.
He is an avid eater. He's pretty much on finger food. He likes to feed himself, and i don't have time to spoon feed him! I just found some sippy cup lids that fit on my bottles...so he's going to try drinking his milk from a sippy cup at school.
He likes music. He will clap when he hears music. You have to sign to him just to get him in his car seat or change his diaper--otherwise, he won't stay still long enough.
