We have a fun week with my mom here and a fun weekend with my dad. My mom watched Cole all week, which was a fun break for him. I think they played outside in the morning when it was cooler (which wasn't much, since we had a heat wave!). Mom became quite familiar with all of his toys as they played and played and played:-) Mom also helped me organize some of my closets...or at least helped me get the process started. I've finally decided that the spare bedroom needs an organizational makeover. The closet is stuffed and there is just too much stuff in that room. My first project was to clean out the hall closet (those items went into the barn and garage). Now the spare room closet contents are getting reduced and moved either to the hall closet or garage. I still have lots to do, but it was nice getting some help!
On Saturday, we went bowling with my parents. We have a really nice bowling alley near here--so bowling is becoming one of our traditions. We checked out the arcade after the game and found a play area perfect for Cole. They let us use it free of charge. So Cole had a huge..pre-school like...play area all to himself. Of course, we played as many board games as we could get in while Cole was sleeping:-)
Cole took advantage of having more readers around....This kid can never get enough books!
