Cole has a fairly large vocabulary and does a pretty good job with using correct grammar, although, he does stumble a little bit on past tense verbs and other common mistakes. But occasionally, he says something that really cracks me up. Here are two cute things he said the other day:
This shouldn't go backwards, it needs to go frontwards.
Mommy, I'd like to do some arting. (aka painting, cutting, gluing etc...)

A few days ago, I announced in the morning that we were going grocery shopping. Well, Cole who was pretending to be a whale, had no desire to go shopping. "No, I stay home all by myself. You can go without me!" He must of pondered this for a minute, because shortly he announced: "Only animals get to go to the store. So only I get to go. You and Finn stay home. People do not get to go!" Once, I had Finn ready and I was ready to walk out the door and simply stated that today I was a dolphin and Finn was a seal. Cole's jaw dropped a little, then he shrugged his shoulders and said: "okay...then you can come to the store too.":-)
