New Tricks...

Wow, little man is exploding with new tricks these days. He has learned to grab a hold of his feet. He typically does this when he is on the changing table (for obvious reasons), but he has been doing it at other times as well. He just grabs them and giggles and giggles..so cute:-) Like I mentioned in my post below he has learned to roll onto one side, this is very helpful for when he is on the floor and a toy has moved out of reach. He doesn't seem to be interested in rolling over onto his tummy...for now the side will do! The biggest surprise for me and his "skill of the day" drum roll please....play crying (I can't think of any other term for this). He was playing in his bouncy seat and I was doing the dishes. I noticed that he started crying (real, intense crying), so I turned around to look at him, the second he saw me he broke out into a HUGE smile and started giggling....I would go back to doing dishes....he would go back to wailing...I'd turn around...BIG smile, giggles....and on and on went the game! Hmmm...I thought it was hilarious, but I could see this game getting really old very soon:-) He is such a smart boy and he is very quick to pick up on cues. For example. this morning I noticed he was shaking his head back an forth (and laughing) while I was changing his diaper. So, I started shaking my head, then I'd pause, and he'd shake his head, pause, I'd shake my head and he would shake his head...on and on. He's really observant and I can tell he is trying to find ways to communicate in his own way.
