Nick just took Cole to his doctor's appointment this morning. All is well. He is in the 90+ percentile for length--281/2 inches! That boy just keeps growing!! He weighs around 17 lb 6 oz (50th percentile). Apparently his shots went well. This was Nick's first time taking him alone to the doctor, so I'm glad everything went well. They were in and out in less than 40 minutes and I believe Nick fed him prior to the appointment, so Cole should have been in a good mood.
Nick was going to get some work done on the barn, but since it is raining, I'm guessing those boys will be spending most of their day relaxing in the house. I'm assuming Cole will be doing a lot of sleeping because of the shots, so a nice raining day is perfect for that!

Leslie, I'm thinking you meant 28 1/2 inches instead of 18 1/2. Usually babies are 18 - 21 inches at birth.
