We took Cole to the zoo today. It was a perfect day to be at the zoo. It was little chilly (but not too cold), so there were no crowds and the animals were active and more visible than usual--so Cole had a great time seeing the animals up close! Just this week, Cole's been trying to say animal sounds. He has elephants in his room and a lion on his bib. He's been making elephant and lion sounds all week--so a trip to the zoo was a must!
Grammy, Grampy and Grandma K came along with us. They had a great time watching Cole's reactions to the animals.
Cole enjoyed all the displays that he could "walk" right up to. He has new shoes and loves cruising in them! He met a little boy who was walking...and I think Cole was a little jealous of his skills:-)

I'll bet he loved the zoo. Zoos are such fun with kids.
BTW I thought it was so cute that Cara's boys think their baby brother should be named Cole.
