In Loving Memory

May 13, 1922 - February 14, 2010
Cole, Nick and I had the privilege of sitting by Dran's bedside and loving on her the last few days of her life here on Earth. We know that we are spiritual beings made for eternity. We were conceived in the mind of God long before we were brought into this world. We also know that our earthly bodies are temporary--they will fail us--but in eternity we are given new bodies. Best of all, through the sacrifice of His son Jesus, we have the privilege of spending eternity in the presence of our Loving Father. I cannot think of a better way to spend Valentine's Day than to be welcomed into the hands of our Heavenly Father.

Leslie, this is a lovely message. And thank you for delivering it with feeling at her service. Though you struggled with it, we know it was because of the love you had for her and very few of us could have done as well.

Leslie, your grandma was so blessed to have such a wonderful grand daughter in her life! What joy you must have brought to her....I'm sure she appreciated her times with you and Cole more than you will ever know. Asking the Lord for peace and joy for you!!

I'm slow to do this, but I wanted to thank you for writing, posting and then sharing at her funeral. Your thoughts were beautiful and comforting.
