Ear Troubles and Molars...Lovely Combo

Cole's tubes only lasted 8 months before he"grew" out of them. (tubes get natuarally pushed out as the ear drum grows...just like a finger nail).  He had an ear infection the third week of May when we saw the ear specialist.  Cole was given oral antibiotics to help with the infection.  We took him in again today to have him re-checked, because he was staying home with Nick anyway (might as well get an appointment in).  Plus, he has been pulling on his ears and not sleeping well.  I suspect this might be caused by two lower mollars coming in, but wanted to rule out an ear infection.  Well turns out, his infection is even worse than two weeks ago.  It's bad enough the doctor is recommending going straight to tubes again.  Two weeks ago, he thought Cole might not need tubes again, but that we could discuss it in the fall if we felt he was having more infections.  So, this is definitly a change in thinking from last time.  Ah.....
