Cole and Amy enjoying a pre-Thanksgiving lunch snack.
Cara, working on name place cards.
Cara worked really hard on making butter horns. They were very tasty, but not as risen as she would have liked. They were perfect about 2 hours before lunch was ready. I removed them from the oven, where they were nice a warm, so we could baked other items. In the meantime, they deflated...next time I'll just cook them 2 hours ahead and heat them up.
Not sure why I took a picture of my kitchen...maybe just to get an idea of all the stuff we had going on.
This was taken minutes before we called everyone to the table. I knew I'd forget to take any pictures once we were seated (and I was right!), so I took these before hand, so I'd have a least something!
So, this is how we got 12 people to sit at the same table. We put two table side-by-side. One was wider than the other, so in the end it made an almost perfect square. We had plenty of room for all the dishes to go on the table--it was just a little hard to reach the items in the middle:-)
