Oh NOOOO.....

That's what I said on Friday, when I went to open my freezer and discovered water dripping from the ice machine. There are no words to describe what I felt, as it slowly dawn on me that my stash of baby food and milk (MILK) was at risk! Pure panic set in. Fortunately, we have a spare fridge and deep freeze in the garage (yes, don't ask me why--we just do:-). We also just replaced the deep freeze last month, because the old one had stopped working. And, fortunately, Nick had recently cleaned out the spare fridge, which usually holds Isa's raw meat and was in desperate need of cleaning less than month ago. It turned out that most of the milk was fine, but all the baby food except for one bag of squash was ruined. I transferred as much as I could to the garage and left the rest for Nick to deal with.
I had planned to spend the evening packing for our weekend trip and cleaning the house, since we weren't coming home until late on Sunday. Well with the added stress of the freezer (oh, and did I mention fridge too?) going out, I had plenty on my hands that night.
I had to pack up Isa's stuff and drove with Cole over to Nick's parents to drop of the crate and chew toys. Then I madly packed for the trip.
